Why do I get an unable to find file error message after installing the English (US) version of Picture Browser?
Please use the English (UK) install instead of the English (US)
Why does nothing happen after the splash screen has disappeared when running Picture Browser?
Please click on the start button and then on run. In run type "regsvr32 browse.ocx" (without the "" marks) and press "Enter" You should receive an error message advising you that the file registered correctly.
How do I import an image into another application such as Microsoft Word from Picture Browser?
There are 2 ways of doing this. The first way is to drag and drop the selected image into the other application. To do this open up Picture Browser and the other application so they are in front of each other on the screen.
Right click on the taskbar and select tile windows vertically. You should now see both Picture Browser and the other application. Left click on the image you wish to import to select it. Holding down the mouse button drag the cursor over to the other application and left go. The image should appear.
The second way is to select the file in Picture Browser and click on the save as button (located in the right hand corner of the Picture Browser window. Browse to a folder on your hard drive such as My Documents. Type in a new file name if required and click "Save"
In the application that you wish to import the image into go to the import picture menu item and point it at the directory where you saved the image into and select the image and click on import (This process will differ depending on the application that you are using. Please contact the Program Vendor for help on importing pictures)
Can I print directly from Picture Browser?
No, the image you wish to print needs to be imported into another application and then printed.
What does Royalty Free mean?
Firstly its limited to non-commercial use! So for personal use, clubs, charities etc use it freely. This includes any print applications in any form and use on web sites and electronic provided the image is not for sale. To protect the copyright holder you should display the copyright notice (see CD label) when using images electronically. Commercial use generally requires a separate license but if you will make less than 1000 copies we also grant this royalty free. If you need a commercial license these are not expensive and you should email sales@greenstreetsoftware.com for a quote listing the images you require and the CD title they come from.
